How is a central filter splitter installed?

A Broadband ADSL central filter splitter is installed at your first telephone point or Telstra lead in cable entry. From there you have a direct pair of wires to the modem for a perfect connection speed. Also from the filter splitter you then have your cable which runs to your telephone outlets or if you have a back to base security system it would go to that first then onto your telephone outlets. This now eliminates having inline filters plugged in at every telephone device in the premises which also makes for a neat and tidy installation.
